Niedzica - mountains

It's the time for some skiing. I went to a place called Niedzica. It's a little city in the moutains.
The best thing there is the old, mysterious castle.
This dog takes care of it ;)

Some informations about the owners:

If you raise you had up, you'll see the banners :)

Time for some history ;)

There are many legends about this place. They are quite scary. But it just suits the ruined castle ;)
One of them tells about an Inca's treasure, which was supposed to be hidden in the castle. The Inka needed it to fight with Spain.
The legend was at least half true, but noone found the treasure yet. Andrzej Benesz (1918-1976) found some informations about it (written in the Inca's language), but died in a car crash, which was spposed to be an effect of a curse.
Well, don't search the treasure, if you want to stay alive ;P

Niedzica's castle is a great place, but people come there mostly for skiing. I'm not surprised, cause the mountains are perfect. :) Not only for the proffesionalists, but also for the beginners.

Even in warm winter days, the staff makes sure to keep the slopes snowy, so you don't have to worry for the weather. ;)

What else can I say? The people here are very kind. They will help you, if you need some informations, and take care of you if you rent a room in their hotel, or house.
I'm spending my holidays every year there, and I really like the way the people behave. They're always smiling, and talkative.
Perfect place to rest after long months in work ;)
